Considered one of Korea’s vocal queens, Ailee will reportedly be making her comeback in early March with a single album.
Industry insiders revealed on the 21st that Ailee has confirmed her plans to make a comeback around March with a new single album. The insider revealed that while the date is not confirmed yet, an early release would be in early March while a late release would be mid-March. Ailee also reportedly filmed her comeback music video on February 20 by Hongdae University.
It has also been revealed that Ailee will be working with composer Park Geun Tae again. Park Geun Tae composed 2 of Ailee’s big hits in “If You” and “Evening Sky”. She currently does not plan on appearing on broadcasts to promote.
Ailee has been in the spotlight for months now as her OST “I Will Go To You Like the First Snow” for mega-hit drama Goblin received an overwhelmingly positive response. Fans are anticipating whether Ailee can live up to the hype with her new song.
With songs such as “Singing got Better”, “Don’t Touch Me”, and “U&I”, Ailee has shown off her powerful vocals and has been labeled “A singer you must listen to”.
March is shaping up to be a competitive month with CNBLUE, GOT7, BTOB, and GFRIEND all planning comebacks as well.
