Produce 101 girl group I.O.I is rumored to reunite to celebrate their 10 year anniversary in 2026.
According to an exclusive report from Sports Donga, I.O.I is planning to release a new song in 2026 to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. The group was formed through Produce 101 Season 1 in 2016, and promoted until 2017. A potential reunion was discussed in 2019 but was quickly shelved following controversy over vote manipulation within the Produce series as a whole.
After many years, there has been discussion to provide a gift to their fans for their 10 year anniversary. The members reportedly agreed to release a special gift, and have recently began discussing with their respective agencies. The report also stated that representatives from each members’ agency have recently gathered to begin coordinating opinions and potential timings for the activities.
