Meet IST Entertainment’s Upcoming Boy Group, Featuring “Boys II Planet” Finalists
According to a report by Korean media, IST Entertainment is set to officially launch a rookie boy group, TUNEXX, this coming March. TUNEXX is reported to have finalized a seven-member lineup, including members who gained public recognition through Mnet’s Boys II Planet.
“We have recently finalized the team name and lineup for our new boy group, which includes Park Donggyu, Kim Sihwan, Arctic, and newly added member Kim Inhu—all of whom participated in Mnet’s survival audition program Boys II Planet. The seven-member group will debut under the name TUNEXX, and we are stepping up preparations with the goal of an official debut in early March.”
Let’s meet the four members who have already been revealed to the public!
1. Park Donggyu

Born in South Korea, Donggyu is a multi-talented vocalist and rapper who trained for over four years before appearing on Mnet’s Boys II Planet. A graduate of Hanlim Multi Art School, he also trained at People Practical Music Academy and previously honed his skills as a Pledis Entertainment trainee, where he was considered for TWS’ pre-debut lineup, before joining IST Entertainment in 2025. Known by the nickname “Gyudong,” he enjoys café hopping, people-watching, cycling, and practicing music. He’s also close friends with Dohoon (TWS), Kang Junseong (B:MY BOYZ), and Kim Sihwan.
2. Kim Sihwan

He’s from Busan, South Korea, and moved to Seoul during high school to pursue his dream of becoming a trainee. He attended Busan Arts High School before transferring to Hanlim Multi Art School, where he graduated from the Broadcasting and Performing Arts Department. He trained for about two years and five months. In his free time, he enjoys playing games, exploring unfamiliar places, and spending time by the ocean.
3. Artic

Arctic is a graduate of Hanlim Multi Art School’s Practical Arts Department and trained for nearly two years before appearing on the show. Known by the nickname “Energetic” — a playful rhyme with his name that perfectly matches his personality—he enjoys listening to music, taking walks, and meditating in his downtime. His specialties include finger tricks and impressive flexibility, while his biggest strength is his natural sociability. He looks up to D.O. as his role model, powers up to D.O.’s “Popcorn,” and has a charming secret: he can’t fall asleep without hugging his body pillow.
4. Kim Inhu

Inhu trained for just over a year before appearing on the show and is known primarily as a vocalist, while also being a strong dancer. During his school days, he served as vice president of the humanities club and was remembered as a neat, well-mannered student who loved joking around with friends—and was especially known for his good looks. In his free time enjoys gourmet food tours, walking, gaming, watching movies, and shopping. His unique specialties include doing a spot-on voice impression of SpongeBob SquarePants, putting full effort into everything he does, and humorously answering questions in completely unexpected ways.
IST Entertainment is a comprehensive entertainment company that has grown alongside leading K-pop idol groups such as Apink and THE BOYZ, and has established a stable production system spanning artist management and music production. Recently, the company has undergone restructuring under a new management team and has been accelerating preparations to launch next-generation artists. TUNEXX is the first boy group to be introduced amid this wave of change.
Attention is now focused on what kind of music and concept TUNEXX will bring as they enter the competitive K-pop rookie scene.
