IU is gaining attention for her new style! Previously, her makeup contained a lot of bright colors, including her eyeshadow that was placed under and around her eyes.
She also had natural or no lenses in her eyes. Her eyes were barely lined with a smudge of eyeshadow and her lips were often brightly colored.
Instead of enhancing her natural beauty, the makeup seemed to sit on top of her face.
Now, her latest look is getting a huge reaction from netizens! The most stark difference occurs in her eyes which are emphasized by longer eyelashes, fancy lenses, and decorative makeup on her aegyo-sal.
Additionally, her lip color is switched to match her personal tone more while her cheeks are given a cute glow by placing the blush directly under her eyes and on the apples of her cheeks.
These differences add up to create a whole new makeup look for IU that gives her a sparkly idol-like appearance.
Even in her casual makeup looks that she wears offstage, her eyes are properly defined with long lashes, eyeliner, and defined aegyo-sal.
