IVE’s Jang Wonyoung is the last idol anyone expected to see in an army uniform — but that’s exactly what fans are about to witness. The star will be appearing on YouTube channel OOTB’s new series “Companion Enlistment“, where she’ll join EXO’s Kai for a special one-day “training camp” experience.
The show takes idols through a simulation of military enlistment, from putting on fatigues to undergoing the same grueling routines soldiers face on their first day. According to producers, Wonyoung and Kai will train together side by side, learning drills, eating in the mess hall, and even enduring basic physical challenges.
The preview showed Wonyoung going through incredibly tough training regimes.
Viewers were also thrilled to see her dressed in a full military outfit, different from her usual style.
