Jo Se Ho, one of several Korean celebrities who faced intense backlash for attending the event, expressed great remorse as he sat across Park Mi Sun, who had shown up with short hair, now growing out after she shaved it for treatment.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen you, noona, and I owe you an apology. I’m deeply sorry for having attended that event…Please know that I’m trying to be more aware and do better.

— Jo Se Ho

W Korea‘s “Love Your W” event was held on October 15, 2025 (KST), aiming to raise awareness about breast cancer. Despite the campaign’s purpose, footage from the event showing celebrities drinking and dancing to Jay Park‘s “inappropriate” performance drew criticism.

The backlash grew further when it became known that the invitations sent to celebrities had labeled it a “breast cancer party.” With the news of Park Mi Sun’s breast cancer battle emerging around the same time, Jo Se Ho was slammed for his attendance.

But Park Mi Sun accepted the hoobae comedian’s heartfelt apology with a touch of cheeky humor, telling him that the stress must have helped him lose some weight—and that it’s OK for him to laugh and have a good time with her on the set.
