ARMYs Congratulate BTS’s Jungkook For Graduating College, And Receiving The Special “President’s Award”

Jungkook’s speech showcases his hard work and dedication!

Since BTS debuted in 2013, ARMYs have watched the members grow up from teenagers into men. In particular, because he debuted at such a young age, fans have always had a soft spot for seeing the group’s maknae Jungkook go through various important life events.

After watching him finish middle school and then going on to graduate from the prestigious School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA), Jungkook has literally grown up in front of ARMYs eyes.

Yet, he recently shared another huge milestone with fans after it was announced that he is now officially a college graduate. On March 3, it was announced that Jungkook had graduated from Global Cyber University with a degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, considering how busy BTS’s schedule has been lately, he even received the “President’s Award.” It is such a huge achievement because it is the highest award given to graduates at the ceremony.

Although he couldn’t be there in person to receive the award, Jungkook sent a special video. Unsurprisingly, Jungkook had mixed feelings about the occasion explaining that he was both emotional and excited, especially considering the graduation marked an end and a beginning.

In particular, he shared exactly what it felt like to receive the prestigious “President’s Award.” As expected, despite Jungkook’s fame, he was humbled by the accomplishment.

Thank you so much for the valuable award. I will always do my best to be a sunbae (senior) who sets a good example for the hoobae (juniors).

He also shared his love for learning and how important it is, alongside his desires for the future that include continuing to create music for fans worldwide.

Yet, it isn’t the first time the internet has congratulated the members on amazing academic achievements.

In August 2020, Jimin and V graduated from the university as Broadcasting and Entertainment majors before enrolling in an MBA (Master of Business Administration) program at Hanyang Cyber University in September.
