JYP Entertainment’s Mistreatment Revealed Through Girl Group’s Damning Texts

Former VCHA‘s KG recently released a statement online that included a Google Drive of screenshots as evidence of the mistreatment she was subject to during her time in the group. It was previously reported that her injuries were worsened as she was forced to continue to practice and strain herself for fear of being scolded.

Not only that, but other forms of mistreatment from the company were also revealed. The girls were forced to eat the same salad daily. Many members voiced out that the salads ended up uneaten and wasted as they tired of the meal.

A heavy point of contention was the pressure JYP Entertainment put on the girls to not eat. In KG’s statement, she claimed that the staff told the members not to eat anything other than what they were given. The girls also allegedly faced emotional abuse from staff who told them not to eat, and to watch their weight.

Not only were the girls not properly fed, KG also revealed that their lunch breaks were often taken up by staff scolding them. This left the members with 5 minutes to rest and eat before their lessons.

KG called out a staff called Alex in particular, claiming that Alex made up lies about the members to make herself look good in front of executives.

KG submitted the statement urgently to call the court to take action. She claims that JYP Entertainment was trying to force the matter into private arbitration, all while calling her claims “false and exaggerated.” The lawsuit is still ongoing as of May 1, 2025.
