K-Drama Actress Confesses She Was Groped At A Club

Actress Ha Ji Won recently shared that she was sexually harassed while hanging out in a club.

On December 8, KST, comedian Shin Dong Youp’s YouTube channel, Zzanbro, uploaded a preview of its upcoming episode where Ha appears as a guest along with actress Kim Sung Ryung and Jang Young Ran.

During their candid conversations, Han Ji Won shared an unpleasant experience of visiting a club in Hongdae. The backstory was that she had to perform somewhere for the singer Wax, and it required her to dance, including doing body waves and such. However, her movements were too stiff. “So they took me to a club a Hongdae,” the actress recalled, to which Shin Dong Youp asked, “To get a feel for that vibe?” Ha Ji Won replied, saying, “Yes.”

The actress continued, recalling how excited she was to step into the club. However, the experience turned sour quickly. “As soon as I stepped in,” she recounted, “someone grabbed my butt.” While the revelation left everyone else completely shocked, Shin Dong Youp responded lightheartedly, joking, “Didn’t you become a regular at the club after that? Or was that not true?” Ha Ji Won appeared to be flustered at this remark.

Meanwhile, Ha Ji Won, Kim Sung Ryung, Jang Young Ran, and Gabee appear together in the JTBC variety show, Same-day Delivery to Our Home. The former three’s episode on Zzanbro will be released next Monday, on December 15, at 7 pm KST.
