Fans Call Out “KAMP LA 2022” Organizers As Multiple Artists Are Having Difficulty Flying To Los Angeles
KAMP LA 2022 boasts an incredible lineup for its two-day concert, including GOT7‘s BamBam, iKON, Somi, EXO‘s Kai, LAPILLUS, P1Harmony, Super Junior, and Taeyeon on the first day. The lineup for the second day includes aespa, Chungha, Epik High, MOMOLAND, MONSTA X, T1419, and Zion.T.
Fans have been understandably excited about the event, although the organizer’s decision to prohibit the distribution of unofficial artist merchandise left fans a bit frustrated.
KAMPERS! Please respect our incredible performers and do not bring any unauthorized artist merch with you to #KAMPLA2022! We will have #KAMPLOSANGELES items available during the event! pic.twitter.com/oN39RvQoUA

One of the many appeals of a K-Pop concert is how fans come together to support their favorite artists, with many fans creating freebies to distribute. By prohibiting unofficial merchandise like fan-made freebies, fans feel like KAMP LA 2022 will lack a key part of the K-Pop concert experience.
Unfortunately, new concerns about the concert have arisen as multiple artists seem to have difficulty flying to Los Angeles.
GOT7’s BamBam took to Twitter to suggest that he was having difficulties with his flight.

Similarly, Somi posted a picture of her luggage to her Instagram Story with the caption “dotdotdotdotdotdotdot,” leading fans to believe that she was also experiencing difficulties with her flight.
Super Junior contacted fans through Bubble to warn them not to wait in the cold because their flight was delayed because of a visa issue.
Super Junior are so sweet and warm-hearted. As soon as they knew the flight is delayed due to Visa problem, they immediately told ELFs who might be waiting at the airport so they don't have to wait 🥺💙

Although some members of Super Junior have since been able to board a flight to Los Angeles, according to fans, other members will have to fly later.
SAFE FLIGHT BOYS 💙

Yesung, Shindong, and Siwon are gonna have their flights later on. Only Leetuk, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are en route. SJ got delayed due to visa issues as well. This whole situation is so frustrating on both the artists and the fans 😭 https://t.co/E0M6vu21bz

Other artists performing on the first day, EXO’s Kai, Girls’ Generation’s Tayeon, and LAPILLUS, seemingly also have difficulties with their flights.
If jongin and taeyeon don't take the last flight today then…….. Bc there's no way they will fly on the same day of the festival it'll be so messed up to make them rehearse and perform after an 11 hour flight. I hope it won't get to that

Fans are demanding answers from the event’s organizers since it seems like the artists’ visas were not prepared properly.
UPDATE: Some members of Super Junior are also awaiting for Visa to be resolved, no word from Taeyeon. Kai currently cannot fly due to visa issues. MLD artists also are not able to fly at the moment. Only D1 artists that are here or Enroute is iKON, partially SuJu and P1Harmony.

.@kampfestivals hello. fans are worried about the organisation surrounding the festival. most of the artists performing tomorrow still have not departed from korea yet. we’d like to know more about it. i think you should address it and he transparent. thank you :)

kamp needs to say something like cmon if some artists can’t make it you need to say it before fans start travelling or ease people’s concerns and say that they’ll be able to make it @kampfestivals

The real crisis is the crisis of incompetence. All those fans buying tickets, hotels so that now they come out with a surprise for the fans who wait for their idols to perform, due to poor organization or who is to blame, many will be angry https://t.co/Eh8YoChqjx

While some fans believe that the CEO of KAMP Global is the same Tim Kim who Jessi recently called out for stranding her in Europe, fans are pointing out that they are two different people who ironically share the same name.
the kamp global ceo and jessi’s ass organiser are two different ppl btw, they just have the same name https://t.co/J5Qy3JtkVL
