New K-Drama Male Leads Kiss—And Tell How They Actually Felt About It

After KBS released a trailer for a new K-Drama, Kick Kick Kick Kick, the YouTube video gained a lot of attention for one scene…

…a kiss scene, to be exact.

Lead actors Ji Jin Hee and Lee Kyu Hyung (also known as Lee Kyoo Hyung) struggle to save one another on the ledge of a rooftop before tumbling down and smacking their lips together.

About the comical dance of a scene, the co-stars said it provided for an excellent “getting to know each other better” session—shared at the online press conference on February 5, 2025 (KST).

The kiss scene was closer to an intense fight scene. As we followed the natural flow of emotions, we ended up bumping lips. It was uncomfortable but fun. It seeded a sense of affection, I might even say.

Ji Jin Hee also added, “The kiss wasn’t enjoyable, but we had fun filming it. Since it was early on in the filming process, we weren’t too close at the time. But filming it definitely helped us bond.”
