Kep1er’s Chaehyun Has Been A Fan of SEVENTEEN Ever Since Their Debut

You need to listen to her cover of “Simple.”

SEVENTEEN fans have long suspected that Kep1er‘s Chaehyun is also part of the fandom, and with her appearance on LeeMujin’s Service, her CARAT status was 100% confirmed.

Chaehyun has never tried to hide her inner fangirl regarding SEVENTEEN, incorporating their songs into even the smallest things and thoroughly enjoying herself as she jams out to their songs.

On LeeMujin’s Service, Chaehyun proved she was a certified CARAT with her beautiful cover of “Simple” by Woozi.

This ballad is a song full of emotions, wrestling with the longing for happiness and the struggles of chasing your dreams. It’s a comforting yet heartwrenching song, and it’s also one that you have to be a true fan to know.

When Lee Mujin asked Chaehyun why she chose to sing “Simple,” Chaehyun revealed that she had been a fan of SEVENTEEN since their debut.

Of all their songs, many of which are wildly popular, Chaehyun wanted to introduce either “Simple” or “Healing,” two SEVENTEEN songs that might not be as well-known but are immensely comforting to the soul. Both these songs came out in 2016 as part of their LOVE&LETTER Repackage album.

Though she ultimately chose to cover “Simple,” Chaehyun was able to sing a snippet of “Healing” when she played a song game with Lee Mujin. When he asked what song she thought would cheer someone up after a long and tiring day at work, Chaehyun quickly went through the lyrics of “Healing” in her head before delivering the sweetest message the song has to offer.
