Seo Youngeun, who has split ways from the girl group Kep1er, shared a message with fans about her departure.
On March 7, 2026 (KST), Seo Youngeun posted on social media, “Hello, this is Seo Youngeun. Since my debut in 2022 until now, thanks to the overwhelming love you’ve given me, I was able to stand on stage as a brighter Seo Youngeun every moment. All of those memories feel like a dream to me.”

She continued, “Although my team activities are coming to an end, every moment I spent with Kep1er and Kep1ian is a precious time that I could never exchange for anything else.”

Previously, Kep1er’s agencies, WakeOne and KLAP Entertainment, officially announced that Seo Youngeun would be concluding her activities with the group. The agencies stated, “We have had in-depth discussions with Seo Youngeun for a long time regarding the direction of her future activities. After careful deliberation, this decision was made.”
Following her departure, Kep1er will continue promotions as a six-member group consisting of Choi Yujin, Xiaoting, Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon, Hikaru, and Huening Bahiyyih.
