“Troublemaker” Actress Gets Snarky After New Video Lands Her In Hot Water Again
Actress Kim Bin Woo is facing criticism once again, this time over a video of herself dancing while driving.
On June 6, 2026 (KST), Kim Bin Woo posted a video from a trip to Jeju Island with her friends. In the caption, she wrote, “We’ve been saying we don’t match for 33 years, but we match the best.”
The video showed Kim Bin Woo and her friends dancing inside a car. However, what drew criticism was the fact that Kim Bin Woo appeared to be driving at the time. While seated in the driver’s seat, she was seen holding the steering wheel with one hand and moving her body to the music.
At one point, she also appeared to place one leg up on the driver’s seat while holding the wheel. She was further criticized for looking into the camera rather than keeping her eyes on the road.
After viewers pointed out the safety concerns, Kim Bin Woo deleted the video.
However, her response to the backlash drew even more attention. Later that day, she wrote on Instagram, “Whew, I’m going to grow sarira out of my body. Why do people pour so much unnecessary energy into hating others?”
The remark was interpreted by some as a snarky response to the criticism rather than an apology, especially because this is not the first time Kim Bin Woo has been criticized recently.
Last month, the actress came under fire after hosting a late-night TikTok Live broadcast. During the livestream, Kim Bin Woo danced and sang with a microphone under flashy lights while loud music played. The broadcast sparked controversy because it occurred in the early morning, raising concerns about noise in her apartment building. When one viewer asked if she was in an apartment, Kim Bin Woo reportedly responded, “I’m on the first floor?” As the controversy grew at the time, Kim Bin Woo apologized through her personal account, writing, “I am deeply reflecting on my thoughtless actions. I will be more careful from now on. I’m sorry.”
With the new driving video surfacing shortly after that apology, many are now criticizing the actress for what they see as a lack of caution. The actress has since disabled the comments on her Instagram.
