Korean Entertainer Faces Prolonged Sexual Harassment From Manager, Seeks Psychological Treatment

A rising star was subjected to repeated inappropriate advances.

As per reports by Taiwanese media, a popular Korean cheerleader named Yeom Se Bin has allegedly been subjected to prolonger sexual harassment, leading her to seek psychiatric treatment.

On November 27, KST, the outlet Taiwan News reported that Yeom had allegedly been sexually harassed by her former Korean manager, identified by the surname Hwang, during her activities in Taiwan. Hwang reportedly worked closely with Korean cheerleaders active in Taiwan.

The manager has been accused of repeated inappropriate behavior with Yeom, including unwanted physical contact, intentionally pressing himself close to her during events, and even forcibly entering her room once while in an intoxicated state. Yeom reported these incidents multiple times, but her complaints were allegedly ignored.

According to Yeom Se Bin’s current manager, she faced extreme stress due to these incidents and was medically advised to get checked out at a psychiatry department. The current manager put Hwang on blast through a public social media post, calling out his inappropriate behavior. Hwang, who is rumored to have behaved similarly with other Korean members in Taiwan’s cheerleading scene, has categorically denied the allegations.

Meanwhile, Yeom Se Bin is considered a rising star among Korean cheerleaders in Taiwan. She started cheerleading in Korea and proceeded to join Rakuten Girls in 2025. Beyond this, she is also active as an independent musician and has released songs under her stage name Snooze in 2024.
