Beomhan is a well-known Chinese American K-Pop trainee who has built a fanbase of over 2.6 million on TikTok alone. He also hosts live broadcasts via Twitch and Instagram, gaining attention for his fun and relatable personality.

He initially caught K-Pop fans’ attention as he and Boys Planet contestant Jay Chang toured the United States together, performing at various events and even working “part-time jobs,” meeting fans. For years, fans have anticipated Beomhan’s debut, although he was said to be a trainee member of the pre-debut group M.O.N.T Arena.

Fans have been increasingly concerned for Beomhan as he has been the victim of cyberbullying, assaults, and more. Recently, he also opened up about self-harm and a suicide attempt.

A week later, on September 6, his company, FM Entertainment, announced the termination of its exclusive contract with Beomhan, which was met mutually.

The company released a lengthy statement via social media in both Korean and English. FM Entertainment claimed that Beomhan allegedly spread misinformation during live broadcasts, contributing to stress for staff and fans.

Fans were shocked by FM Entertainment’s aggressive words against Beomhan, especially as he had just had a live broadcast, which was announced via his Instagram.

But they are happy that he is no longer with the company. Additionally, they called out the company for remaining silent when Jay Chang was a victim of harassment and misinformation.

They hope Jay Chang and FM Entertainment’s contract will be the next to be terminated. We wish both young men the best so they can make their debut.
