Last day, Uhuru Peak 🏔️
5,895 mThe journey to get here was much harder than I expected, and both my body and mind broke down over and over again 😭 Every time I was short of breath, I kept thinking, ‘Why did I decide to do this..?’
Still, without stopping, walking really, really slowly, before I knew it, the summit was right in front of me… 😭 (Especially the last day—it’s impossible to put into words!)
I finally reached Uhuru Peak, and once again I realized that what matters isn’t speed, but not stopping!

After returning to Korea from the rewarding climb, she also shared that she has been to a dermatologist since. Revealing her facial burn wounds, Kwon Eunbi explained, “This is my face. Second-degree burns on my nose and lips after climbing Kilimanjaro.”

She added that during the climb, she applied ointment every single day and kept the area covered, saying, “This is what happened after I went to a dermatologist once I got back to Korea.”

Huh… Over time, it began to turn darker. I started seeing spots. It was red. But overall, it seemed to be healing!
