LE SSERAFIM Pay Homage To Their Past Through Their Performance At SBS Gayo Daejeon
LE SSERAFIM pulled off another impressive stage performance at the SBS Gayo Daejeon. Apart from their amazing outfits, undefeatable stage presence, and very live vocals, another impressive element of their set was the intro part, where the past lives of the members were highlighted.
The VCR before the performance showed how each of the members worked hard to come all this way. Sakura‘s struggles to prove herself after being an idol in Japan for so long, Eunchae‘s long road to finally achieve her dreams, Chaewon‘s efforts to reinvent herself, Yunjin‘s passion for being a singer, and Kazuha‘s evolution from a ballerina to an idol, all these aspects were the focal points of the video leading up to the live performance.

When the camera panned to the stage, a long-haired Chaewon cut off a chunk of her hair with scissors, symbolizing her evolution as an idol.

Next, Yunjin took the stage for an opera rendition of the aria “Habanera” from Georges Bizet‘s 1875 opera Carmen. It was a nod to her background as an opera singer. During Yunjin’s rendition, Kazuha graced the stage with a brief enticing ballet routine, showing off her expertise as a classical dancer.
