“Still Rude As Hell”: Former “Single’s Inferno” Contestant Back On The Chopping Block
When the third season of Netflix‘s Single’s Inferno premiered, contestant Lee Gwan Hee was almost immediately dubbed the “red flag” for his “disrespectful” behavior. Throughout the season, he remained a hot potato, facing backlash in nearly every episode for his actions and comments.
That said, two seasons later, he is back on the chopping block after being seen making another “rude as hell” remark about Hong Jin Kyung, one of the show hosts.

In a recent video posted to his YouTube channel, Lee Gwan Hee reviewed the fifth season of Single’s Inferno alongside Yoon Ha Bin, who also appeared with him on the third season. At one point in the video, the basketball athlete-turned-TV star pushed back against Hong Jin Kyung’s commentary, saying, “I feel annoyed that Jin Kyung noona is giving dating advice.”

Lee Gwan Hee: I’ve always wanted to talk about this. Like, I feel annoyed that Jin Kyung noona is giving dating advice when it seems like she doesn’t really know much about dating. What do you think?
Yoon Ha Bin: But isn’t she married? She even has a child.
Lee Gwan Hee: Does being married automatically make her better than me? I can acknowledge Hanhae, Dex, and Da Hee noona. But I just don’t understand Jin Kyung noona. I don’t think she’s better at dating than I am… I just don’t think Jin Kyung noona vibes with this show. Please do better. She’s no fun to watch.
The video went viral and, of course, netizens are flabbergasted by Lee Gwan Hee’s remarks.

- “Looks like he got triggered.”
- “Who even is this guy to be acting like that?”
- “So what he’s saying is basically, ‘She doesn’t look attractive to me, so she probably hasn’t dated much,’ right? LOL Honestly, it’s impressive how his level shows in every word and action—back then on Single’s Inferno and now. Did he not review his own footage?”
- “Wow… after watching the show, that’s what he has to say? Without a shred of reflection?”
- “Honestly, keeping his mouth shut would probably help him in life.”
- “People criticizing him before, I kind of brushed it off—but after hearing that comment, I get exactly why he gets dragged.”
- “So rude…”
- “He was stirring things up with Dex for a while, and now it’s Hong Jin Kyung.”
- “What is wrong with him?”
- “Still rude as hell…”
- “Terrible character.”
The video has since been made private and removed from his YouTube channel.
