Not too long after actress Koo Hye Sun (Goo Hye Sun) publicly slammed her actor ex-husband Ahn Jae Hyun and his TV programs for making light of their divorce from 2020, actress Lee Min Jung was seen commenting on Ahn Jae Hyun’s dating life on her show, Heart On Wheels.
In the episode that aired on August 8, 2025 (KST), Lee Min Jung told Ahn Jae Hyun to start dating again when Boom commented on how “lonely” the actor must feel. Urging him not to waste his time as a single mean, Lee Min Jung even promised the actor that she would “check out” his next girlfriend to see if she would be a good match for him.

This came after Lee Min Jung gifted Ahn Jae Hyun with two bottles of perfume for his birthday in a previous episode. On a card, she wrote, “One is fragrance for men. The other is for women. I truly hope you can meet someone good for you.”
Lee Min Jung’s undivided support for Ahn Jae Hyun’s dating life drew significant attention, given Koo Hye Sun’s Instagram post that expressed discomfort over Ahn Jae Hyun mentioning their divorce.

Viewers now believe the recent episodes of Hearts On Wheels to have been what “triggered” Koo Hye Sun’s lash out.
