Lee Seung Gi Gifts Parents With Luxury Gift Worth Millions Of Dollars

Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi has reportedly gifted his parents a town house worth around ₩2.60 billion KRW (about $1.77 million USD).

On November 19, women’s magazine Woman Sense reported that he had recently gifted his parents a luxury town house in Gyeonggi Province, a property he had owned for about 10 years. According to the report, Lee Seung Gi transferred ownership of a town house located in Sinhyeon-dong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, to his parents this past August. The property sits on a 416㎡ (126 pyeong) lot and consists of one basement floor and one above-ground floor (with a total floor area of 289㎡, or 87 pyeong). While the exact value is unknown, a house of the same size within the same complex sold for ₩2.60 billion KRW (about $1.77 million USD) in July.

Lee Seung Gi originally purchased the home in July 2016 for approximately ₩1.34 billion KRW (about $913,000 USD) and held it for nearly a decade.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi married actress Lee Da In in 2023, and the couple has one daughter. After their wedding, they moved into a luxury villa in Hannam-dong, Yongsan District, under a ₩10.5 billion KRW (about $7.16 million USD) jeonse lease. It is also reported that they are currently building a new house in Jangchung-dong
