Actor Lee Yi Kyung Fiercely Calls Out Production Teams Who Betrayed Him And More Amidst Controversy In Scathing Statement
Actor Lee Yi Kyung has been recently embroiled in a series of accusations involving his private life. Lee was accused of making sexual remarks towards the alleged victim, and more. Although he has repeatedly denied it, the accuser continues to step forward.
Actor Lee Yi Kyung’s Alleged “Sexual Requests” Victim Makes Final Statement
On November 21, 2025, Lee finally spoke up on his personal Instagram. He explained his side of things in the caption, accompanied by a photo of a lawsuit application.

“Hello. This is Lee Yi-kyung.
The reason I did not speak about my position until now was because my agency asked me to refrain from making any statements until after a lawyer had been appointed and a criminal complaint had been filed against the person spreading the rumors.
A few days ago, I visited the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul and gave a statement as the complainant. I conveyed my position regarding the rumors and completed the process of filing a complaint for blackmail and defamation by spreading false information.
Every single moment, I felt a surge of anger. Someone who claims to be a German, whose identity and existence I don’t even know, kept appearing and disappearing, just as they had months ago when they sent threatening emails to the company. Once again, the company calmed me down, saying there was no need to engage in a battle over truth regarding such false information.”
He continued that he was forced to step down from multiple shows due to it. He also called out the varies production teams for not supporting him.
“Although it was labeled as “fabricated” and disappeared in just one day, I ended up being advised to step down from a variety show because of it, and we ultimately chose to withdraw voluntarily. In the previous “noodle slurping” controversy, I clearly said that I didn’t want to do it, but they asked me anyway, saying they had even rented a noodle shop because of me. My line, “This is just for a variety show!” was edited out. After the controversy broke out, the production team did nothing more than make the absurd excuse that they had been in a rush, and I had to bear the entire backlash alone. My image suffered severe damage as a result.
In another variety show, I was informed that I would only appear through VCR footage, but I later found out from a news article that I had actually been replaced. As of now, my filming schedule remains unchanged. I recently finished shooting the movie Generational Regret, and filming for a Vietnamese movie, an overseas drama, and variety shows is going well. As for the outcome you are all curious about, once a warrant is issued, the suspect will soon be identified. Even if they are in Germany, I will go there in person and file the complaint. There will be absolutely no leniency for malicious commenters either.”
He ended off by thanking a few of the shows that still continued to support him.
“Lastly, I would like to thank the fans who believed in me and waited, as well as I Am Solo, Brave Detectives, Handsome Guys, and everyone else who trusted me and stood by me.”
