Lovelyz’s Mijoo Shares Her Insanely Expensive “Motivation” To Obtain A Driver’s License
Lovelyz member Mijoo recently shared the unbelievably costly “motivation” behind getting her driver’s license.
On August 1, KST, the singer uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel where she revealed her luxury vehicle for the first time.
In the video, Mijoo introduced her car, a black Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, popularly known as the G-Wagon.
The idol-entertainer revealed that it was the first car she bought after getting her license. In fact, she used the purchase the motivation to go through the process of obtaining her license.
Getting a driver’s license felt like so much of a hassle . So I figured if I booked a car first, I’d feel more motivated to actually get it— so I reserved the car first and then got my license.

When asked why she settled on the G-Wagon, Mijoo confessed that she didn’t have much knowledge about cars and had asked around for suggestions. She finally chose the G-Wagon because it “looked nice.”
Despite buying such a high-end vehicle, Mijoo revealed that in the three years she had owned it, she had driven only about 15,135 km. She admitted that she never drove too far in it, and due to her drinking habits, she didn’t have many opportunities to drive herself around anyway.
Notably, the model of Mijoo’s vehicle is reportedly priced around ₩200 million KRW (about $144,000 USD), making it perhaps the most expensive motivation anyone has ever used to get their driver’s license!
