She was “merciless.”

On August 11, KST, MAMAMOO’s subunit MAMAMOO+, consisting of Solar and Moonbyul, appeared on Tak Jae Hoon’s YouTube show No Back Tak Jae Hoon. The duo showed unfiltered wit and charm throughout the episode, taking controversial questions about their popularity, earnings, and even dating life head-on.

While the episode received mixed reactions from MooMoos, who are on the fence about some of the questions, it also invited some hate comments from trolls. One netizen left a particularly malicious comment, saying that the duo had “no wits” and were “rude.” They also mockingly implied that the reason why “feminists” like them are called on the show is because women like to watch them.

They’re not interesting, they have no wit, they’re rude, they have no matters, they don’t have the looks, so why these feminists… Right, I guess there are K-girls who are watching this show.

It is no secret that MAMAMOO’s popularity domestically can be attributed mainly to their female-centric fandom. Since the members have unapologetic artistry and truly empowered lifestyles, it is often said that a MAMAMOO fan is always a supporter of feminism. But in South Korea, it is often not a well-received tag.

Moonbyul decided to hit back at the hate with a brief yet powerful response. She posted a screenshot of the comment, saying there is one more thing she lacked, and that is mercy.

Sir/Ma’am, there’s something else I don’t have!! I have no mercy.

Needless to say, fans are loving this straightforward boss b*tch energy from the rapper.
