NCT's Taeyong And Johnny Become Bodyguards At SMTOWN LIVE 2022 In Tokyo

SM Entertainment artists recently gathered for SMTOWN LIVE 2022 in Tokyo.

SMTOWN LIVE has returned to Tokyo for a three-night concert with an impressive line-up that includes BoA, TVXQ, SHINee‘s Minho, Key, and Onew, Red Velvet, aespa, NCT, and more.

SMTOWN’s concert in Tokyo marks their second of four planned concerts, with the first concert taking place in Korea.

Both of the concerts that have taken place so far have had their share of memorable moments and fun interactions between SM Entertainment’s artists.

The members of NCT have gained attention from fans on multiple occasions for their professionalism and talent showcased during both shows.

WayV’s Hendery and YangYang, NCT’s Jeno and Taeyong, and aespa’s Giselle thrilled fans when they performed their collaboration song “Zoo.” After their stage, they earned praise for maintaining their professionalism and delivering a strong performance despite issues with the audio in their in-ears that made it difficult for the members to stay on beat.

NCT’s Taeyong also earned attention when he asked fans to help him acquire the photo card of SM Entertainment’s founder Lee Soo Man, which was available to fans through the SMTOWN AR slot machine outside of the venue.

He later shared on his Instagram that he secured the limited edition photo card, which ended up selling out.

That wasn’t the only way he showed his love to SM Entertainment’s founder. During SMTOWN LIVE 2022 in Tokyo, NCT’s Taeyong and Johnny personally escorted Lee Soo Man to the center of the stage.

Instead of making a typical trip down the walkway, Johnny and Taeyong showed their hilarious personalities by blocking both sides of the founder and pretending to be his bodyguards.
