Netizen Sparks Heated Backlash With Detailed Story Of Getting “Rejected” By Famous K-Pop Idol At The Gym
Recently, a woman garnered quite the attention online after she shared the story of how she “shot her shot” at a cute guy at the gym, who she later found out to be a member of a popular K-Pop boy group. Though she kept the identity of the singer undisclosed, many guessed it to be BTS‘s Jungkook, based on the other details she provided.
As the story went viral, many fans left comments under the video, asking the woman for a “story time” about this absurd encounter. A few days after posting the first video, she responded to the comments by posting another detailed one, recounting how the incident went down.
The woman recalled noticing the idol while working out at the gym, dressed in “all black,” looking “mysterious.” They had a few brief eye-contacts while working out when the OP (original poster) noticed his face, and later on, they bumped into each other while trying to walk through the same exit. She eventually tried to ask him for his number and got turned down politely. It wasn’t until a third person made her aware that she realized the person she was trying to ask out was a K-Pop star.

The woman once again refused to disclose the identity of the idol or the location of the gym, stating that she didn’t want to put him at risk. However, her story has garnered quite the negative attention from fans who felt that its authenticity was questionable.
