Netizens Have Mixed Feelings After SHINee Key’s Past Remark To Minho Resurfaces

Another of SHINee Key‘s comments to Minho has resurfaced, leaving netizens with mixed feelings.

Earlier this week, many fans were left feeling disappointed after what many considered to be colorist remarks were made by Key and Taemin regarding Minho’s skin tone.

Minho is known for having tanned skin, especially after spending time golfing. In new content, Taemin and Key commented about Minho being “too dark” to see at night, with the latter even asking why he became so tanned.

Fans were understandably disappointed and took steps to assure Minho there was nothing wrong with his skin tone and expressed their hopes for Taemin and Key to be educated.

The portion of the episode has since been removed from the original video, but a new clip of Key speaking to Minho has resurfaced.

During Key’s episode of Single Life, the two spent time trying on clothes from Key’s closet.

When Minho puts on a mismatched assortment of clothes, Key laughs and says, “you look like a greedy Mexican old man.”

Key elaborates by saying that he has seen people who “collect” everything thing on another program, referring to the mismatched way Minho has on the assorted clothes.

After a screenshot of the clip was shared, some fans claimed it was taken out of context as they were just having fun.

Others still had a problem with what was said, wondering why he would include Mexican in the description he gave.
