In 2022, other members of the group left YG Entertainment, and only G-Dragon was seemingly still signed to the company. A screenshot from YG Entertainment’s quarterly report recently gained attention after netizens felt it revealed G-Dragon’s future with the company.

In the report, a table was released that showed the current state of the celebrities currently signed under the company, including idols and actors, until March 31, 2023.

In the list, while it was clear that YG Entertainment’s list of actors and actresses outweighs the idols they have, many noticed the omission of G-Dragon in the singer’s section.

The table lists the artists signed under the company, and it has BLACKPINKAKMU, WINNERSechskiesJinusean, and TREASURE.

While it wasn’t surprising that T.O.P and BIGBANG’s Taeyang and Daesung weren’t listed, as they are no longer under YG Entertainment, many were shocked that G-Dragon’s name wasn’t listed.

When netizens saw G-Dragon’s omission, many believed it was “proof” that the idol had left YG Entertainment, whether moving to a completely different label or to a subsidiary, such as THE BLACK LABEL.

While some netizens thought it was a sign that the idol had left, others pointed out proof that it probably wasn’t true. In particular, many pointed out that G-Dragon is still listed on the company’s website…

Following the topic becoming hot news online, YG Entertainment responded to the allegations explaining that G-Dragon was still with the company and that fans shouldn’t worry about the idol’s status with the company.
