NewJeans’ Rumored “New Musical Narrative” Stirs Up Fury

Fans are worried about the comeback.

As speculations about NewJeans’ possible three-member comeback grow stronger, concerns about the new direction of their sound under a completely changed behind-the-scenes creative team have also become a pressing issue.

Recently, the entertainment outlet Complex reported on NewJeans’ possible comeback, speculating on their new musical identity. The publication claimed that the group’s return will be marked by a change in their musical narrative, which many interpreted as a complete switch-up in their concept.

This rumor, in turn, fueled further speculations that ADOR is trying to force a change on NewJeans’ well-established identity just to put past allegations of BELIFT LAB plagiarising NewJeans for ILLIT’s concepts to rest.

As these speculations spread further, NewJeans fans reacted with outrage, drawing the inference that NewJeans was being unfairly punished.

However, since these claims are purely speculative at this stage, many also reacted with skepticism. ILLIT fans also defended the girl group, arguing that they had nothing to do with NewJeans’ current situation.
