Netizens lauded the idol for her awe-inspiring visuals and for exuding major model vibes since being only a child.

  • “I can’t believe she’s only in 7th grade. Isn’t that when your face changes the most? But she’s so pretty.”
  • “Although she’s so young, her vibe is in a class of its own. I think once she is older, she’ll take over all the pictorials.”
  • “She looks like an actress, like Kim Min Hee.”
  • “Her look is so unique.”
  • “When NewJeans first came out, I thought they were all pretty. But when I watched their performances, I only had eyes for Hyein to the point I watched her solo cams. I don’t understand why she isn’t more popular, and I’m sure there will be a day when she lives up to her potential. Mark my words.”
  • “I think NewJeans is the first group since TVXQ that every member is a top visual.”

NewJeans debuted on August 1, 2022 under HYBE sub-label ADOR. The group debuted with a four-track EP including the singles “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” and “Cookie.” Check out the performance video for “Hype Boy” in the link below.
