One scene in particular has gone viral on X (former Twitter), featuring lead actors Lee Min Ho and Ahn Hyo Seop. In the clip, Lee, portraying the character of Yoo Joong Hyuk, confronts Ahn, portraying the role of Kim Dok Ja, trying to figure out his true identity. It is a high-tension scene where Dok Ja desperately tries to conceal his truth but gets caught every time due to Joong Hyuk’s superpower.

The scene, reposted by an X user, has already garnered over a million views, but not for good reasons. Netizens have bombarded the quality of the cinematography and CGI, harshly criticizing the creatives behind this project. Many pointed out that the scene composition looked way too much like an advertisement and lacked any creative usage of camera angles. Viewers were left wondering how such a high-budget movie could deliver such results.

Some netizens, who are fans of the original webtoon that this movie is based on, also took issue with the characterization of Dok Ja, stating that the script didn’t portray him faithfully.

Beyond this single scene, the movie is already embroiled in more controversies, including the director’s recent remarks about casting BLACKPINK member Jisoo in the role of Lee Ji Hye. Read more about it here:
