Singer Lee Youngji has been hosting the sixth season of music talk show The Seasons since September 2024. She took over from Zico‘s run, Zico’s Artist.
She hosted Lee Youngji’s Rainbow for half a year, and was announced on February 14, 2025, that she would be stepping down. In surprising news, the new MC will be the show’s first actor host.
Park Bo Gum will take over her slot as the host of The Seasons, leading its seventh season. The choice is apt as Park Bo Gum had been preparing to become a singer, even going to auditions, before he debuted as an actor. He also majored in musicals in Myongji University, even taking a Masters in New Media Music.
The talented star can play the piano himself, and was part of the navy’s military band while serving his nation.
Park Bo Gum’s new season name has not yet been announced. Lee Youngji’s last episode will be released on February 21, 2025.
