Park Bom’s Agency Puts Speculations About 2NE1’s Future To Rest
2NE1 member Park Bom‘s agency has finally addressed her surprising absence from the group’s major performance in Los Angeles recently.
On June 1, KST, 2NE1 took the stage again as a group at the Head In The Clouds music festival. However, they performed as a trio, without Park Bom. Since Park’s previous Instagram update had shown that she was in Los Angeles, many fans were left confused by her absence from the show, wondering why she didn’t show up despite possibly being in the same city.
Park’s agency, D-Nation, has finally responded to fans’ questions about her absence from the performance. According to a Star News report, the singer was in Los Angeles for some other activities, and she returned to Korea in mid-May. Though her social media post was made near 2NE1’s performance, she was already back home by then.

As for the reason for her not performing, D-Nation clarified in an official statement that it was due to scheduling conflicts. They also mentioned that the situation was discussed in advance with the rest of the members, and they mutually agreed to go ahead with the performance without Park.
The speculations about 2NE1’s current relationship that arose from Park Bom’s absence at the festival have been laid to rest. Apart from the clarification from her agency, the members themselves have also made it clear that their bond is as strong as ever. Fans noticed that Sandara Park had tagged Park Bom in the pictures she posted from the Head In The Clouds festival on her personal Instagram.
Park also posted a picture on her Instagram with the caption, “On my way to the 2NE1 gathering.” Though some had assumed that the group reunion occurred in the US, reports have confirmed that the four members actually gathered together in Korea before their LA performance.
