Police Raid YG Entertainment To Investigate G-Dragon And Yang Hyun Suk
Police have raided YG Entertainment in relation to a case of copyright infringement involving G-Dragon and Yang Hyun Suk.
According to a press released from the police force, officers from the Mapo Police Station received a complaint from an unidentified composer back in November 2024 that claimed YG Entertainment violated copyright law by reproducing his song without his permission and distributing it within one of G-Dragon’s album.
A later TV Report article stated that the song “G-DRAGON” that he created was taken by YG Entertainment and G-Dragon and changed to “My Age is 13” which ended up on G-Dragon’s live album Shine a Light under the song “My Age Is 13 + Storm + Hip Hop Gentlemen + G-Dragon”.
The police have been investigating since and have conducted two search and seizures, at least one of one of which was of YG Entertainment in relation to the case. They have stated that they cannot confirm any further details of the investigation.
Stay tuned for future updates on the case as they come out.
