Popular Boy Group Member Confesses He Kept This One Item Frozen For 13 Years
SHINee’s Key has always been open about his close relationship with his late grandmother, who raised him during his childhood. Recently, he shared a touching detail that left fans deeply moved.
During a recent broadcast, Key revealed that he has kept the very last meal his grandmother made for him — a bowl of gomtang (traditional Korean beef soup) — frozen in his home for the past 13 years.

To be honest, the last gomtang my grandma made for me before she passed is still frozen in my house. I can’t bear to eat it. I’ve never thawed it, not even once, for 13 years. It goes with me whenever I move houses.
Knowing how much Key loves the gomtang, his mother attempted to recreate the recipe for him during his 34th birthday. Key was absolutely moved by the effort.

Key has always been vocal about his close relationship with his family. He has even called his grandma about her gomtang on TV previously.
In 2013, Kibum called his grandmother to ask for the gomtang recipe
Kibum's grandmother: "If you want some, I can make some and freeze them for you, then you can get them from the freezer whenever you want some."
