Popular Boy Group Members Open Up About Their Huge Fight That Resulted In No Contact

Singer-turned-actor Tachyon‘s Son Ho Jun opened up about a moment when he felt hurt by TVXQ‘s Yunho. On a recent episode of the show The Manager Lee Seo Jin, Son talked about how they once fought so badly that they fell out of contact.

It all started with a birthday. Son had painstakingly cooked seaweed soup, a stew traditionally drunk on birthdays, for Yunho. Yunho promptly forgot about Son’s birthday after that, causing Son to cut him off.

Yunho: “Hyung made miyeokguk (seaweed soup) for me, but I forgot his birthday, so he was probably really disappointed.”

Son Ho Jun: “That’s right. For me, it was a really big deal. I intentionally stopped calling him completely. No messages, nothing. Normally, I’m the type to contact first, but I thought, ‘He’ll reach out eventually.’”

What stung even more was the contrast between how touched Yunho was, but how he had easily forgotten Son’s birthday.

“I put my whole heart into cooking that seaweed soup and threw him a birthday party. If he hadn’t cried, I might not have been that upset — but he cried while eating the soup. I thought, ‘He must be really touched.’ But then not even one phone call afterward… that really hurt.”

Alls well, ends well! The boys are friends again after Yunho admitted his fault!
