Pre-Debut Male Idol Confuses The Heck Out of K-Pop Fans With His “BTS V Visuals”
On December 1 (KST), Howling Entertainment announced that their new male group, WAKER, is set to debut on January 8, 2024.
The group’s official accounts across social media platforms have been active for weeks now, and as more pictures and videos are shared, one member is making K-Pop fans do a double-take!
Member Kwon Hyeop is not a stranger to the K-Pop world. In 2017, he participated in Produce 101 Season 2 as a trainee under Maroo Entertainment.
After getting eliminated from the show, Kwon Hyeop parted ways with the management and announced that he would seek new career paths. Then, in 2018, he enlisted to complete his military service.
Fast forward to 2023, though, Kwon Hyeop is now awaiting his debut while making rounds on the internet for being BTS V‘s doppelganger!
K-Pop fans found one particular picture to capture an uncanny resemblance…
…and mentioned that other pictures also show glimpses of other popular Korean celebrities, like actor Kim Joon (from Boys Over Flowers) and Sung Hoon.
