Secretly Married Girl Group Member Shares Updates As An Actress In Japan
Kim Jaekyung, girl group RAINBOW member-turned-actress, has drawn attention by sharing updates on her life and activities in Japan following her secret marriage.
Recently, the K-Pop star posted several photos on her Instagram account with the caption, “A glimpse of various aspects of life in Japan.” The update showcased Kim Jaekyung in the middle of filming a Japanese drama, as well as candid moments from her downtime exploring local restaurants, highlighting her down-to-earth daily life.

Since January, Kim Jaekyung has been working in Japan for the TBS Friday J-Drama DREAM STAGE. She has also recently been confirmed for the Wavve original K-Drama, Reverse, signaling another active year ahead in her acting career.
Before her budding acting career, though, she was a beloved leader of RAINBOW, which debuted in 2009. She took her fans by great surprise when, in the summer of 2024, she held a private wedding with a non-celebrity partner, and news of her marriage was publicly revealed through the media in December of the same year.
Reacting to the delayed announcement, Kim Jaekyung shared, “I hope writing this new chapter will be fun and filled with the same energy and sincerity as always, and I hope you’ll cheer me on. I’ll do my best to bring you good news about a new project soon,” along with wedding photos in traditional attire, capturing public attention.
