Red Velvet’s Wendy Proves Herself As A Formidable Soloist With Her Win Of The”Asia-Pacific Gold Song of the Year” Award

She pulled ahead of some of the biggest solo names in the industry!

Red Velvet‘s Wendy shows her prowess as a top singer once again!

On October 19, the top 10 list for the “Asia-Pacific Gold Song of the Year” award at the Annual Fresh Asia Music Awards 2019 was released, and among many notable contenders, Wendy’s OST “What If Love” for the drama Touch Your Heart was also nominated for the award.

Other artists also nominated for the award were top solo powerhouses like Chen, Kim Eun Sang and IU. Soon after, it was announced that Wendy’s OST had taken the top spot in the competition, and had won the award for the category!

As Wendy has not debuted as a soloist yet, this is an especially remarkable feat as her song went head-to-head with some of the biggest solo names in the industry, and emerged victorious!

Congratulations on this exceptional achievement, Wendy!
