Netizens Speculate RIIZE’s Poor Ticket Sales Point To Trend Among SM Entertainment Idols

There are multiple explanations.

RIIZE‘s ticket sales for their North American tour are garnering mixed reactions among netizens.

After tickets went on sale, majority of tickets are still available in the venues even days later.

Netizens speculate this is occurring for different reasons: Some felt as if it was the fault of Ticketmaster’s platinum ticketing system (tickets with increased prices according to demand).

Others felt as if the group is continuing the trend of SM Entertainment groups biting off more than they can chew with ambitious tours outside of Asia.

Some point out that it’s simply too early to tell as the shows take place in the fall, giving them adequate time to sell.

  • “It’s still three months away in November, so I’m sure they’ll sell.”
  • “This comment was made without really knowing the facts.”
  • “Is nobody reading? It literally says $84…”
  • “Don’t worry, they’ll handle it themselves. Why do you care so much if it sells or not? It’s like you’re obsessively tracking other people’s ticket sales.”
  • “I even suspect this might be a reverse PR post.”
  • “If it’s $84, that’s not even expensive.”
