“Running Man” Star Hit With Criticism For Repeatedly Hitting Female Co-Star

Running Man‘s Yang Se Chan gained attention on online communities recently for his behavior on the show. While the show strives to deliver comedic relief to its viewers, his over-the-top actions have rubbed people the wrong way.

Fans noticed that he consistently hits co-star Ji Ye Eun during the show.

In South Korea, as with many Asian countries, hitting someone on the head is highly disrespectful. In some cases, Ji Ye Eun did nothing to provoke his disapproval. In the GIF below, netizens pointed out that it was HaHa who answered the quiz wrong, but Ye Eun was the one who got hit.

This seemed to be a repeated occurence.

Netizens berated him for his behavior.

• Right after that, Yoo Seung Ho wiped ink off Ye Eun for her. It made him look bad in comparison. Well, I guess people can just laugh it off in the name of it being a variety show.
