Actress Ryu Da In Fiercely Defended Against Hate Over Relationship With “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” Star
As tvN‘s Bon Appétit, Your Majesty came to a successful end, male lead actor Lee Chae Min has risen to stardom as the biggest breakout—but the glory is now casting a heavy emotional burden on his actress girlfriend, Ryu Da In.

From co-stars of 2023’s Crash Course in Romance to lovers, the couple has not shied from showing off their love for one another on social media. In fact, their latest posts, celebrating their birthdays, went viral for possibly being “lovestagram” content (though the actor later explained in an interview that it was not).

And while their fans had originally supported the couple’s open relationship at first, it seems that Lee Chae Min’s recent spike in popularity is changing the dynamics. In an unfortunate turn of events, Ryu Da In is now being bombarded with indiscriminate hate comments:

- “You’re in the same line of work as he is. How come you’re being so inconsiderate, then? Even non-celeb girlfriends know better than to do what you’re doing…”
- “Thanks for saving me the money from going to any of his fan meetings, LOL.”
- “Tone the PDA down a bit.”
- “Chaemin deserves better LOL.”
- “Don’t ruin Chae Min and YoonA’s show, and stop trying to steal the spotlight.”
With screenshots from Ryu Da In’s Instagram making rounds online, Korean netizens are now coming together in support of the actress. Rallying behind her, netizens are fierce in calling out the “delulu” fans for attacking Ryu Da In over what is a fictional plot and character.

- “Stop over-immersing in the damn K-Dramas. Actors and characters should be seen separately. It’s always these over-immersed delulus who end up bashing the girlfriend.”
- “????????”
- “Looks like most of them are just delusional fans. What they mean is their fantasy got interrupted. Delulu stans are a social ill.”
- “If you don’t want your little fantasy bubble to burst, then don’t stalk the girlfriend’s Instagram. Just keep watching the show instead.”
- “Seriously, stop bashing the woman, you obsessed freaks.”

- “So many people are not in their right mind… sigh.”
- “If they’re so concerned about the relationship pulling them out of the story, then why are they even looking at the girlfriend’s Instagram? Idiots.”
- “What does it even mean when they say the relationship breaks their suspension of disbelief? Do they not know that all K-Dramas are ultimately fiction??? How do they even watch shows starring married actors, then?”
- “What’s wrong with them?”
- “Honestly, it’s just that they can’t stand their fave male actor dating another woman LOL. Do they think he’d date them if he stayed single? Gross.”
- “What’s wrong with these people…”
But perhaps most importantly, Lee Chae Min himself has stood firm in making sure the world knows that his girlfriend is one of his greatest sources of support.
