Actor Ryu Jun Yeol has reportedly participated in the celebration of Reply 1988’s 10-year anniversary.

According to a News1 report on October 30, KST, Ryu Jun Yeol recently participated in the filming of a special program commemorating the tenth anniversary of his cult-classic K-Drama, Reply 1988, despite initial reports of his absence from the program.

The K-Drama’s director, Shin Won Ho, had previously announced that he would be preparing a special program for the show’s tenth anniversary, including a reunion-cum-travel show involving all the main cast members. At that time, people were curious about Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri’s attendance, since the former lovers had been embroiled in a bitter public feud prior to the announcement.

Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency had previously stated that he would not be able to join the content filming due to schedule conflicts. However, a broadcast official recently told New1 that he rearranged his schedule to partially participate in the tenth anniversary celebrations and filmed some segments for the program.

Though the actor still wouldn’t be joining the group trip, netizens have highly appreciated his limited participation in the celebration.
