SBS “Inkigayo” to hold private recording sessions until further notice
After a holding a private recording session for their last episode, SBS Inkigayo imposes the same rule for next week until further notice.
On June 15th, a representative from Inkigayo revealed that due to the recent MERS outbreak, the June 21st episode will be filmed in private. It was stated that no public recording will be considered until further notice.
The program started putting up precautions due to the rampant spread of the disease and held their first private recording session last weekend to protect their artists, staff members and audience. Other programs held similar measures as a prevention.
Meanwhile, Inkigayo has received a number of criticisms following their failure to announce the winners on its June 14th episode and banning of BIGBANG from the program following G-Dragon and T.O.P’s absence. BIGBANG eventually took the trophy for the controversial episode a day later.
