SBS Reporter Slaps “Garo Sero” With Lawsuit, Denounces Kim Sae Ron’s Recordings As Fake

On May 8, KST, SBS reporter Kang Kyung Yoon made a post on her blog informing the public that she had filed a legal complaint against Kim Se Eui, the operator of the Garo Sero Research Institute channel on YouTube.
Kang expressed her disapproval of Garo Sero’s May 7 press conference, labeling it “shocking.” She supported the claims that the audio recordings shared during the press meet were fabricated using deep learning technology.
Kang also revealed that the informer who gave Garo Sero the recordings had also contacted her in early April. She described him as “someone with an unclear identity, who appears to be seeking money” and emphasized her distrust for such people. She concluded by calling the informant a con artist, adding that she had assumed people around her would dismiss him as well.
Talking about the recording involving Kim Sae Ron’s voice, Kang asserted that it was “clearly manipulated using AI to imitate the deceased’s voice to suit their agenda.” In the recorded conversation, the actress spoke about her personal life, including matters involving Kim Soo Hyun , and discussed Kang Kyung Yoon as well.

Kang stated that friends of the late Kim Sae Ron had contacted her after watching the press conference and expressed their distress, stating that Kim was not someone to speak with such profanities.
She also refuted Kim Se Eui’s claim that she had gone to the informant’s home in New Jersey to intimidate him. She published her official immigration records and travel history from January 1 to May 5, 2025, which showed that she had never set foot in New Jersey during this time period.
She concluded her blog post by stating that she was worried about protecting her own reputation and putting an end to this “nightmarish chaos.”
