TWICE‘s Jeongyeon will reportedly make her acting debut in upcoming movie New Recruit: The Movie.
According to an exclusive report from YTN, Jeongyeon was recently cast in New Recruit: The Movie, being offered the role of a nursing officer in the movie. This would mark her first acting role in her 10 years of entertainment activities.
New Recruit: The Movie is a movie spin-off version of the K-Drama New Recruit series, which has been airing for three seasons. Unlike the K-Drama version, which is set in a military unit, the spin-off movie version will be set in a military hospital. The production team is in the final stages of finalizing the script and adjusting the filming schedule prior to filming later this year.
JYP Entertainment has not yet commented on YTN’s report.
