An update via SHINee‘s official Instagram and other social media accounts has since set off some strong reactions from K-Pop fans awaiting Key‘s statement regarding his relationship with comedian Park Na Rae‘s “auntie.”
On December 14, 2025 (KST), the @shinee account shared photos of Key, who is currently in the middle of his solo tour “2025 KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley.” Dressed in his stage outfit, Key immediately drew attention with this update.

While fans would normally welcome any and all updates, this one comes amid controversy. Earlier this month, Key found himself also dragged into Park Na Rae’s scandal involving a woman now known as the “auntie.”

After Dispatch reported on Park Na Rae’s alleged addiction to illegal medical practice provided by this auntie, an unlicensed individual, her past Instagram posts about Key resurfaced—with some wild speculations about the idol’s relationship with the said auntie.
Despite the fans’ growing calls for an explanation, neither Key nor his agency, SM Entertainment, has addressed the issue yet…

…and so the update has, inevitably, not been received well.
