What BTS Are Really Like, According To Actor Simon Pegg

He took his family to see BTS in Las Vegas!

English actor, writer, and producer Simon Pegg is one of the biggest ARMYs! He’s also the co-founder of Stolen Picture but perhaps is most well-known for his roles in popular franchises such as Star Trek and Mission Impossible and cult classics like Shaun of the Dead.

After frequently sharing his love for the group with his daughter Matilda (also known as Tilly), he and his family finally saw BTS in person. The family flew to Las Vegas to attend PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE.

So, when he held a live broadcast via Instagram recently, most of the comments were curious to hear about their experience. ARMYs especially wanted to know what it was like to meet BTS.

Simon Pegg asked Tilly which members surprised her most “in real life.” After some hesitation, she replied, “All of them.” She was both “amazed and petrified” meeting them. Still, since Suga is her bias, she specifically remembers saying hello to him.

They’re really tall, they’re seriously tall!

As for Simon, he remembers two very memorable moments resulting from Jimin and V. Since he called Jimin by his nickname “Baby Mochi,” he laughed.

He also had some fun with V. Initially, they all had masks on when they went in. So, when they took them off, V made a face toward Simon.

V made me laugh. He made a funny face at me.

We can totally imagine V doing this!

For most of the meeting, Simon conversed with RM. The BTS leader was familiar with some of his filmography.

I spoke mainly to RM ’cause his English is so good, and he’d been to see Baby Driver before, so I knew he was kind of aware of us as filmmakers. So, yeah, we had a nice chat.

The concert itself was also an amazing experience for the Pegg family. Tilly even shared some of her videos and photos from it!

The BTS concert was a lot of fun. It was spectacular…

Of course, everyone wanted to know Simon Pegg’s bias in BTS! And his response was too relatable.

It changes from day to day. I’m having a J-Hope day today.
