Actor And Certified BLINK Simu Liu Reveals BLACKPINK Bias, But He Has An Unexpected Connection To Them
Chinese Canadian actor Simu Liu is a fan of BLACKPINK, but he also has an unexpected connection to them!
Simu recently attended The 20th Unforgettable Gala in Beverly Hills on Saturday. NextShark interviewed him on the red carpet only to discover he is a BINK.
Like many of us, Simu struggled to pick a bias. He is a fan, especially of both Lisa and Jennie, but he admires each member. He couldn’t sing their praises enough.
A bias and bias wrecker. It’s definitely between Lisa and Jennie. I feel like I like both of them. Just seeing them live, they’ve got such a swagger. Just such an ease on stage, but also the ability to command a stadium of tens of thousands of people, that is not easy to do. Seeing the both of them, they’re just killer.

Ultimately, Simu did choose a bias… It’s none other than Lisa! So, that would make Jennie his bias wrecker.

Previously, Simu attended BLACKPINK’s 2022 Born Pink World Tour in Los Angeles on November 19 with his friend, Jubilee Media CEO Jason Lee and girlfriend Allison Hsu. She is actually a digital marketing manager with BLACKPINK’s U.S. label, Interscope Records.

Simu is best known for his role as Jung Kim in the CBC Television adaptation of the play Kim’s Convenience. And last year, he made history as the titular character in the first Asian lead superhero film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. However, he is soon to star in the new live-action Barbie movie.
