SM Entertainment Confirms Their Artists Will Join Weverse

SM is heading to Weverse.

SM Entertainment has confirmed that they will be moving forward with plans to integrate their artists and commerce into Weverse.

In a statement shared in English to users of SM Entertainment’s official fanclub service Kwangya Club, they stated that they will be migrating all fanclub services to Weverse in the near future.

We sincerely thank all the fans using the “SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB” service, and would like to inform you there will be a change to the operating platform of “SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB.”

In the near future, the Weverse platform will provide all activities related to the “SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB.”

We expect our fans to have many questions concerning the sudden platform change notice. We kindly ask for your understanding as we will inform you of the platform shift schedules and the details through further notice.

Further reports stated that SM Entertainment’s artists will join Weverse by the second half of 2023, with Jeff Benjamin stating that 12 soloists and groups will be joining the platform.

SM Entertainment will also integrate their merchandise sales into Weverse shop. They will have their merchandise sold both on their own platform, SMTOWN &STORE as well as Weverse’s shop. Bubble will also be continue to be a platform for artists to communicate with fans.

Earlier, it was rumored that SM Entertainment’s artists would be joining Weverse in the near future.
